Allergy Free Food Finds

Allergy free food finds are very exciting for those of us who are eating with food allergies. I am always thrilled when I find something new to try, especially if I come across it at the regular grocery store. Sometimes, I'm disappointed with the product, other times I love it but my kids won't touch it and often we all love it and we look to buy stock in the company that makes it.

When discussing "allergy free foods", it is important to note the following:

  1. No food is completely "allergy free" since one can be allergic to just about any food.
  2. "Allergy free" on this site usually means free of the top 8 food allergens (egg, dairy, soy, wheat, peanut, tree nut, fish and shellfish) (if a food listed here contains one of the top 8 allergens, it will be noted in the review).
  3. If you decide to try a product listed here, please be sure to read the label for yourself and contact the manufacturer about cross-contamination if necessary. Remember: products and formulations often change without notice.

Entering your story is easy to do. Just type!...

Your story will appear on a Web page exactly the way you enter it here. You can wrap a word in square brackets to make it appear bold. For example [my story] would show as my story on the Web page containing your story.

TIP: Since most people scan Web pages, include your best thoughts in your first paragraph.

Be sure to include all of the details that you would want to know when reading about a new food. Some suggestions: Where to find it, ballpark cost, how far it stretches (can you make 5-12" pizza crusts out of one mix?) and, most importantly, how does it taste!
